Educator

Britt 37_edited.png

My teaching mission is to inspire, challenge, and empower students to use their bodies and voices in ways that bring them joy. When a student leaves a class or workshop I teach, I want them to be thinking,

"I didn't know I could do that!"

I am trained in Lecoq, Viewpoints, circus arts, Alexander Technique, long-form improv, Laban, slapstick, Linklater, among others, and enjoy a "do first, rationalize later" mentality. My strength is that I meet students at their experience level to achieve their goals. Whether it's helping a circus performer craft a story with their act, coaching a stand-up comedian in clown technique, or training an ensemble to create dynamic stage pictures, I often fill in gaps for those I work with so that they become more well-rounded artists.
